Flower delivery in Strakonice

Strakonice lies at the confluence of the Otava and Volyňka rivers, about 52 km north-west of České Budějovice.

The first written mention of Strakonice dates from 1243. The Bavor family founded Strakonice Castle in the first quarter of the 13th century, and its grounds now house the Museum of the Middle Otava Region, with an exhibition on bagpipes and bagpipe playing. Strakonice is known for the International Bagpipe Festival, first held in 1967 to mark the 600th anniversary of the town's foundation. St Margaret's Church in Strakonice was built between 1580 and 1583 to designs by V. Vogarelli on the site of an older church.

LaFlora.cz delivers flowers in Strakonice. The delivery service makes it possible to send a bouquet when you cannot hand it over in person.

Flowers can be handed to the recipient at home, at work or somewhere else they are staying. Other possible handover locations include Strakonice Hospital on Radomyšlská Street, part of the South Bohemian Region's hospital network. Gymnasium Strakonice on Máchova Street can also be a handover point; it continues the tradition of the town's municipal real gymnasium, whose opening the town council decided on in 1920. Flowers can also be handed over at the Strakonice Municipal Cultural Centre, based in the House of Culture on Mírová Street, which also runs Kino Oko and the summer cinema.
