Flower delivery in Strakonice
Strakonice lies at the confluence of the Otava and Volyňka rivers, about 52 km northwest of České Budějovice. The town's first written record dates from 1243. Strakonice Castle was founded by the Bavor family in the first quarter of the 13th century. The castle complex now houses the Museum of Central Pootaví, with an exhibition on bagpipes and bagpipe playing.
Strakonice is known for the International Bagpipe Festival. Its first edition took place in 1967 to mark the 600th anniversary of the town's foundation. The Church of St Margaret was built between 1580 and 1583 according to plans by V. Vogarelli, on the site of an earlier church.
LaFlora.cz delivers flowers in Strakonice. With every bouquet, the online shop passes on a message from the sender to the recipient.
A bouquet can be handed to its recipient at a private home address, at work or at another institution. Possible locations include the local hospital on Radomyšlská Street, part of the South Bohemian Region's hospital network, and the grammar school on Máchova Street. Another possible handover point is the municipal cultural centre, which is based in the House of Culture on Mírová Street and runs Kino Oko and the summer cinema.
