Flower delivery in Louny

Louny lies in the Dolnooharská tabule region on the Ohře River, about 50 km from Prague. The first records of the settlement of Luna, by a ford across the Ohře, date from the 12th century. Přemysl Otakar II founded Louny as a royal town in the 1260s.

The Church of St Nicholas, with its three-part tent roof, was built after a fire in 1517, and a ceremony in 1538 marked the completion of its construction. The Žatecká brána gate dates from 1500 according to a Latin inscription, and walls enclose two thirds of the historic centre. Louny Museum is housed in a Gothic house of Sokolů z Mor near Mírové náměstí, while the Benedikt Rejt Gallery occupies the town brewery building.
