Flower Delivery in Chrudim

Chrudim lies on the Chrudimka River, about 11 km south of Pardubice and around 110 km east of Prague. The first reliable mention of the town is in Cosmas's account of the death of Břetislav I in 1055. Přemysl Otakar II founded the town in 1263.

The historic centre, with its preserved medieval layout, was declared an urban conservation area in 1990. Ressel Square is home to the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and the Plague Column of the Transfiguration of the Lord, dating from 1713. The Museum of Puppetry Cultures, opened in 1972, is housed in Mydlářovský House on Břetislavova Street. Founded in 1892, the Regional Museum occupies a Neo-Renaissance building dating from 1897–1898 on Široká Street.
