Flower delivery in Česká Lípa
Česká Lípa lies on the Ploučnice, about 80 km north of Prague. The historic centre is on the river's right bank.
The first written mention of a settlement in Česká Lípa dates from 1263. The town grew up around Lipý water castle, founded by the Ronovci in the 13th century between branches of the Ploučnice. Next to the castle stands Červený dům, a summer house built as a hunting lodge by Jetřich Berka z Dubé in 1583. The local history museum and gallery in Česká Lípa are housed in a former Augustinian monastery, which Albrecht z Valdštejna had established in 1627.
