Flower delivery in Blansko

Blansko lies in the valley of the Svitava River, 19 km north of Brno. The town centre is 276 metres above sea level.

The first mention of Blansko dates to 1136, and Emperor Franz Joseph I granted it town status in 1905. The Žalkovský family from Žalkovice rebuilt Blansko Chateau as a Renaissance residence, completed in 1604; it now houses a museum. The Moravian Karst Protected Landscape Area extends into Blansko's territory. The wooden Church of St Paraskeva comes from Subcarpathian Rus, and the Czechoslovak Church accepted it in 1935.
